The recent season of The Shield got me thinking about the horrible immigration bill now being debated in DC, then I wrote this.
I heard Benjamin Barber on NPR's Marketplace talking about his book Consumed. It made me so angry - that an educated person could be so stupid about basic economic law - that I had to write this column, also inspired by P.J. O'Rourke's latest.
