After a couple of weeks off, my weekly Baltimore Examiner column is back. Go here for my take on the Israel-Lebanon war.
The Wire is the second greatest show on television, and Season 4 starts Sept. 10 on HBO. Here is a tidbit about the upcoming season from the Philadelphia Inquirer, which should also serve as a warning for my great editors to continue treating me well.
The Bulwer-Lytton fiction contest gives awards for intentionally bad prose fiction, most of which is quite hilarious.
If there were an award for unintentionally bad column writing - maybe we could call them the Mollies or the Dowdies - this column would be a prizewinner.
